TLA Is Looking for a Data Analyst to Join Our Small but Mighty Team

The Learning Accelerator (TLA) is launching an 18-month partnership with a leading performance-based school system to support the district’s use of evidence across its adult-facing initiatives to inform continuous improvement and the scaling of highly innovative competency-based learning strategies and programs across the organization. We are looking for a new member to add to our small but mighty mission-driven team as a Data Analyst and work with us part-time (20 hours per week), supporting the dedicated project team, which includes two external partner organizations, Yet Analytics and a school district.

The job description will give you more information on the opportunity and the impact you will have in this role; if you want a quick inside look into our organization, we previously wrote about how firmly TLA believes in the importance of strong organizational culture and how heavily we invest in our remote work structures, team building, and DEI initiatives to ensure that our team is healthy, happy, and collaborative and to maximize the experiences of our employees.

Applying for a job requires energy, effort, and trust, and at TLA, we aspire to provide our applicants an effective and responsive hiring process. Once you have read the job description and feel like you might be a good fit, we encourage you to apply if you are:

  • passionate about the TLA’s mission;
  • aligned with our core values;
  • experienced through all phases (startup/design, data collection, interpretation of findings, final report) of at least one project in conducting quantitative inferential or statistical analyses like effect sizes, multilevel modeling (e.g., hierarchical linear models, structural equation models), path or trend analyses, or other similar analyses;
  • an effective verbal and written communicator of research and/or evidence to audiences with varying levels of experience and expertise;
  • experienced and/or comfortable with remote work; and
  • persistent and adaptable to change.

We look forward to hearing from you!
